DOME 4.0 on SemIIM Workshop
Under the “European Semantic Web Conference” (ESWC 2022) was held in a hybrid mode the “SemIIM 2022” Workshop on May 30th in Heraklion, Crete. The ESWC 2022 is one of the most important key academic conferences for new findings and innovations in the area of the Semantic Web and Knowledge Graphs.
DOME 4.0 was introduced to the audience of the First International Workshop on Semantic Industrial Information Modelling (SemIIM), as part of the industrial panel held with the participation of leading experts in the field. The presentation of the project was led by the partner BOSCH and colleagues Zhou Dongzhuouran and Evgeny Kharlamov who was the moderator of the panel. Moreover, four conference publications were released acknowledging the DOME 4.0 project.
The panel brought together researchers and industrial communities and focused on the gap between what research and technology providers offer to the industry today and the actual industrial needs. During the panel were discussed whether such a gap indeed exists and how to mitigate it.
The SemIIM workshop aims at gathering researchers and practitioners who work on addressing challenges with the help of semantic technologies. Moreover, IM experts were invited, who are excited and committed with tendency to push the frontiers of IM further and support modern industry in its current technological transformation. The workshop welcomed novel methods, systems, solutions, experience, and practice for semantic industrial information modeling.
