CMCL’s CEO and co-founder, Dr. Amit Bhave, gave an invited talk entitled “Ontologies for cross-domain Interoperability” at the International Workshop on Formal Ontologies Meet Industry (FOMI) 2021, held in a hybrid manner (online and Bozano, Italy) on 17 September 2021. Dr. Bhave’s talk focused on the Universal Digital Twin (UDT), a Dynamic Knowledge Graph Approach, and covered two use cases from our collaborative research in Horizon 2020 projects DOME 4.0 and OntoTrans. The importance of cross-domain interoperability in paving the way towards industry 5.0 to realise a sustainable, human-centric, and resilient future was also highlighted.
