DOME 4.0: 8th GA Meeting
From June 17 to 19, the 8th General Assembly (GA) Meeting of the DOME 4.0 project took place at the premises of our partner SINTEF in Oslo, Norway. This was a significant meeting for the consortium as we approach the final stages of the project.
The meeting initiated with a warm welcome from SINTEF and our colleague Bjørn Tore Løvfall, who the consortium at SINTEF’s state-of-the-art facilities. Following this, Amit Bhave, our project coordinator, extended his welcome, setting the tone for a productive and collaborative session.
The presentations of the first day were dedicated to providing the project management overview. Moreover, Work Package (WP) and Task leaders provided updates on their tasks and how they are meeting the project’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Discussions were detailed and data-driven, allowing each team to present their accomplishments and challenges. This was a chance for everyone to share progress and challenges, ensuring that the consortium is working towards achieving project’s KPIs.
The second day of the meeting featured a special session focused on the 3rd and final Hackathon of the DOME 4.0 project. The event will take place in-person at UCL East in London on September 11th and 12th, 2024. The Hackathon will include a live demonstration of our platform, showcasing the innovative solutions developed over the course of the project.
As the project is set to conclude in November, the consortium utilized this opportunity to discuss the remaining key topics and tasks. This included finalizing deliverables, addressing feedback from the project officer and reviewers, and ensuring that all KPIs are met.
Throughout the meeting, there was a strong emphasis on collaboration and proactive problem-solving. The consortium members engaged in productive discussions, shared insights, and strategized on how to effectively address the remaining challenges.
As we move forward, our focus will be on the successful execution of the final Hackathon and the completion of all project milestones. The commitment and dedication of all consortium members remain steadfast as we work towards the successful conclusion of the DOME 4.0 project.
